Here at Petted we’re all pet parents, so we get that insurance can be hard to understand. There are copays, deductibles, pre-existing conditions... sometimes it feels like you need a dictionary to hand to help explain it all!
That’s why we built this reviews platform.
By gathering thousands of reviews from pet parents across the US in one place, we’ve made it easy for you to find out exactly what real people think of America’s leading insurers. And don’t think we only let the good reviews onto the site: we include people’s opinions whether they’re good, bad, or indifferent. We also give insurers the chance to respond to reviews, because we think the fairest thing is to give you as much information as possible when you’re making what is a really important decision for you and your pet.
You can filter results by things like breed and insurer to make it even easier. So go ahead and see what thousands of other pet parents are saying!
Pet’s Best is Best
Tazz got very sick and would have cost me almost $3k. I paid my deductible and the rest was taken care of, super easy to get them to pay!!
Pet’s Best Health Insurance. Could it really be the best?
I have just recently insured with Pet’s Best and have registered 6 pets under them. The cost is pretty low for all of them every 3 months. The reimbursement rate is 90% for me which I like. They also cover quite a bit of illnesses and accidents which is great in case there is an emergency. So far I have had no problems but I am looking into other pet insurance companies to see if they can offer more for less. So the best? Not necessarily but perhaps in the top 10.
Pretty good, but.....
I did a lot of research before I chose Pets Best, and I feel good about the coverage and the rate, but they do take a really long time to process claims. Admittedly 30 to 45 days is not uncommon. I almost chose Trupanion, but my vet said they didn’t accept it. Not sure if they even knew what it was.
The one thing that you can use to your advantage, is the fact that Pets Best is owned by CareCredit. You can pay at the vet with your CareCredit are, and then pay that off when Pets Best pays your claim. That is really only helpful if it is a costly procedure, though.
Easy to navigate, great protection
Easy to access, eat to cancel if needed, and lots of options for pet health. Doesn’t get any easier than embrace insurance. Highly recommended.
