Americans know ASPCA for its incredible work preventing and punishing cruelty against animals across the country. But it also lends its name to pet insurance, which is provided through a well-renowned partner: Crum and Forster.

ASPCA’s offering is as solid as its name and reputation. There’s a comprehensive accident and illness plan plus optional wellness cover, while premiums can be adjusted to your needs by altering limits, deductibles, and reimbursement levels. Communication and customer service has a fantastic reputation among our reviewers – as shown by the average review score – and the company can be contacted in every conceivable way, from fax to Facebook.

The claims process is easy, too, although payments can be a little slower than some companies. But perhaps the best part of ASPCA pet insurance is that you know a chunk of your premium will go towards the organization’s work safeguarding animals.

The non-profit that protects America’s animals also puts its name to a very comprehensive pet insurance plan. Great coverage but some people report long claim reimbursement waits.

Really pleased with ASPCA so far! I chose them because they include thing like microchipping and had a pretty short waiting period compared to some others.

Did a lot of research when choosing pet insurance. ASPCA is awesome because they include microchipping and spray/neutered in their coverage. This was important to me to keep dogs with their families and to mitigate the amount of dogs being bred and ending up in shelters. The also have the option to add on preventative care which is awesome because I know my dog needs his vaccinations, flea & tick treatment, as well at heart-worm preventative. Another plus is that they provide discounts for multiple animals! Animals can be added in the member center at any time! Claims can be easily submit online or via the app. Highly recommend ASPCA Pet Insurance.

I got ASPCA insurance for my puppy and I didn’t love it. The insurance did not cover many of the necessary tests and vaccinations and the ones it did, was only for a small percentage. I was paying for services twice. In the long run it didn’t seem worth it to me.

I have had mini vet bills over the years so when I got my dog I decided to insure him I don’t want the large bill from illness or emergency. I submitted a claim for a exam and the claim was denied without much of a explanation I decided to resubmit with As much information I could get from the vet, medical records, etc. I am currently waiting to find out if the claim was excepted or not.
