Spot is great for pet parents who want to know what they can afford on a budget. When browsing through the options, customers can adjust deductibles and reimbursement options to fit their needs.

There are two plans to choose from: accident only and accident & illness. Both provide extensive coverage such as scans, procedures and medication. Customers also have the option to add a wellness plan, either gold or platinum, to their existing policy if they want a bit of extra peace of mind.

Spot doesn’t just provide insurance services; it also has some great resources. On the company’s website, there is a tool that highlights how much vet fees for certain procedures would cost if someone doesn’t have pet insurance. It definitely shocks people.

I could not be any happier with how this claim was resolved. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because it was stuck in “”processing”” for over 2 weeks before I called to get an update and they expedited it due to the amount involved. The usual turnaround time might have been another month. But the representative was super friendly and caring. I am recommending Spot to everyone I know who owns pets!

I wish the claims process went a little quicker. There was a discrepancy with my first claim which held up the other claims for over a month. Also, better notification of settled claims. Otherwise, Great plan! Good customer service if you need to talk to someone.
