Spot is great for pet parents who want to know what they can afford on a budget. When browsing through the options, customers can adjust deductibles and reimbursement options to fit their needs.

There are two plans to choose from: accident only and accident & illness. Both provide extensive coverage such as scans, procedures and medication. Customers also have the option to add a wellness plan, either gold or platinum, to their existing policy if they want a bit of extra peace of mind.

Spot doesn’t just provide insurance services; it also has some great resources. On the company’s website, there is a tool that highlights how much vet fees for certain procedures would cost if someone doesn’t have pet insurance. It definitely shocks people.

FACT! Spot doesn't apply any extended waiting periods to policies for other conditions, such as ligament issues

Petted Review

Good for pet parents who like to take control with its high flexible and wide-ranging coverage options. Its 24/7 pet telehealth helpline is also a bonus, but there’s 14-day waiting period for accidents and illnesses.

Responsibility and reimbursement

Everything was great except for reimbursement. It took 12 days to arrive. They should have a Direct Deposit way of reimbursing so it’s a bit faster. I feel the Vet should forward all paperwork for proof of Service. This should not be my responsibility to forward all paperwork! The Vet should be responsible for all this!

Always asking for more info

Always asking for more info…When you receive an itemized final invoice. The expectation is for you to see what applies to my policy and reimburse me. Medical notes is optional on your site so there shouldn’t be a need for you to contact my vet and request more info. Getting off to a bad start I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. No one needs the hassle
